M. Lockwood Porter comes home for the holidays
It's a Thanksgiving miracle: Former Berkeleyite M. Lockwood Porter is coming home.
Briefly, that is. Recently relocated back to California after a brief jaunt to his home state of Oklahoma, Porter is embarking on a short West Coast tour next weekend that will take him up to Oregon and down to LA. In the middle, he's stopping off at San Francisco (and Boulder Creek the next night for all you South Bay-ers) to play with Vandella and his pal John Calvin Abney. Give our old friend a warm welcome at El Rio on the 23rd.
